How will your donation help FNVA meet its objectives?

RESEARCH, EXPERT PAPERS AND PROGRAMMES

Your donation to FNVA, shall contribute to a deeper understanding of  POLICY, PROGRAMMES and developments – political, military, infrastructure undertaken by China, and how this stands to affect India’s sovereignty and its relations with neighbours in the region.

Your donations will help FNVA analyse China’s policies for Tibetans inside Tibet and how these will affect  lives of Tibetans in India and back home in Tibet.

This can only be possible through in-depth research, writing of articles and well thought out programmes both online and physical.

Your donations are crucial here to ensure these are carried out by  paying honorariums for expert researchers; for publishing research reports and expert papers to be used by policy and decision makers in government and politics.

REGIONAL DIALOGUES

Your donation to FNVA will  help us to organise Regional Dialogues as confidence building measures between Chinese, Indian  and Tibetan scholars.  Regional Dialogues serve as a forum for dialogue between eminent scientists from China, India and Tibet  and on critical issues impacting them. It will help pay for their travel and lodging expenses, it will pay for logistics of the programme as well as to publish  reports.

The fragile ecology of the Tibet Plateau and the mighty rivers of Tibet on which millions of lives depend is one of the focus areas at Regional Dialogues. Your donation will help FNVA develop in-depth programmes as well as research to help raise awareness about the centrality of Tibet in its role as the protector of the Third Pole and the crucial importance of the Third Pole to the world’s climate.

GRASSROOT PROGRAMMES

Your donation will help FNVA reach out to the thousands of vulnerable Tibtans living in India through educational, legal programmes and help FNVA offer medical and legal services to them.

SCHOOL PROGRAMMES

Your donation will help FNVA conceptualise meaningful programmes for school children of the 11th and 12th grade to sensitise them to Tibet, China and the Himalayan area in general and to create further interest in taking up higher studies on Tibet – geopolitics, ecology, third pole, Tibetan anthropology etc.
