Krishan Varma: superannuated from the post of Special Secretary to the Government of India. in September 2012. During a distinguished career spanning 35 years. he developed expertise on China. He has served in key assignments within the country and abroad dealing with policy, security and development related issues in India’s neighbouring countries, Far East, Koreas, South East Asia, Indian and Pacific Ocean regions, Africa and also with economic, science and technology and security issues on a global scale.

O.P. Tandon: has long experience in managing educational and cultural institutions of national importance. In particular, he was responsible to set up the Tibetan Parliamentary and Policy Research Centre (TPPRC).

Ranjit Gupta: was India’s Ambassador to Yemen, Venezuala, Sultanate of Oman, Thailand, Spain and Head of Office in Taiwan. He was Ambassador in Residence at Jawaharlal Nehru University & Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, 1999-2000. Later on, Mr. Gupta served as Director-General of the India-Taipei Association, Taipei, Taiwan, from 2000 until 2003. He is the Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Chinese Studies, New Delhi. Mr. Gupta has presented papers at think-tanks in India on various aspects of India-China-US relations.

Rebon Catharina Banerjee: has worked with a German political foundation and has closely followed the Tibet movement for the past 17 years during her tenure with the German foundation. She has helped establish new NGOs working in areas as diverse as human and political rights, environment, and self help groups.

Tempa Tsering: is a senior member of the Tibetan civil service. He has been a Minister in charge of Home, Information and International Relations. He is currently the representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in New Delhi and has made significant contribution to strengthen Indo-Tibet relations.
