Tibet publication culture industrial park construction project is listed as key support culture project by Party Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region and also included in “press and publications reform and development project library” of State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.
On April 13, 2016, the first-stage project of Tibet publication culture industrial park kicked off in Tsechokling Village of Chengguan District in Lhasa.
They totally invest 170 million yuan in the first-stage project with gross building area of 35,000 square meters, which covers various culture and sports events, such as studio, music theme bar, leisure bookstore and so on.
It is expected that the park will put into use in October 2017. It will be famous cultural center that embraces Tibetan culture display, culture exchange, cultural tourism, cultural consumption, cultural factory and others.
Upon completion, it can not only drive Tibet’s publishing enterprises cultural development, but also integrate other cultural resources of the industrial park as well as improve Tibetan cultural inheritance and promotion, said the head of Tibet Tianli Economic Cultural Development Limited Liability Company.
Besides, the park will promote employment for villagers’ children who received higher education, bring wealth for villagers and enhance villagers’ overall cultural quality, said the principal of Tibet cultural tourism creative industry center management committee office.
