The Minister also quoted Pakistan Prime Minister’s adviser on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz who had said, “Pakistan has been maintaining the stock of its nuclear arms at a minimum deterrence level against its conventional enemy (India)”.

Pakistan on Thursday said there has been no response from India so far about the participation of Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj in the Heart of Asia Conference being held here next week.

Swaraj is likely to attend at “Heart of Asia” Conference slated to be held in Islamabad on December 7.

Iran’s Oil Minister, Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, said last September that Pakistan has asked Iran not to penalize it for the delay because it is suffering from financial problems.

Commenting on the agenda of the conference, Khalilullah said it is aimed at cementing regional ties besides expanding cooperation among Afghanistan and regional partners in combatting terrorism and eliminating poverty and extremism. “We support coordinated action against terrorists”, he said.

Information Minister Pervez Rashid said that there is no possibility in having secret meeting with each other for the leaders of both the countries as leaders move with tight schedule. The spokesman also reiterated that Pakistan wants result oriented dialogue with India to resolve all outstanding issues including Kashmir and promote bilateral relations.

In reply to another question, Qazi said there are 2,308 Pakistanis now serving jail sentences in Saudi Arabia.
“However, continued help by Pakistan to terrorism directed at us from the territory underneath Pakistan’s management has prevented creation of crucial surroundings”. Action against terrorists has been taken successfully under the operation Zarb-e-Azb and the National Action Plan.

To a question regarding statement of Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan, the spokesman said it was against diplomatic norms for an ambassador to try to undermine relations of his host country with a third country. He added that “2,340 Pakistanis – a lot of them Hajj/Umra visa violaters – are awaiting deportation from the Kingdom”.
