Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan says Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan are being given priority in road infrastructure.

Minister for Kashmir Affairs Chaudhry Barjees Tahir says linking far-flung areas of the country through highways and motorways is Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s vision.

Inaugurating a road in Sheikhupura, he said the road infrastructure furthers economic development and creates national harmony by linking various parts of the country with one another.

He said Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan are being given priority in road infrastructure.

He said roads are being constructed in these areas under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
