Tibet’s first business development forum held in Lhasa

It is reported that Tibet’s first business development forum was held in Lhasa, capital of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, on April 2. This is the top-class meeting in the field of Tibet’s business. Representatives from chambers of commerce in Tibet, professors of Tibet University, business representatives from famous retail enterprises and catering companies, as well as other guests attended this meeting. They discussed about three main topics—“business challenges and opportunities in the Internet era”, “development prospects of Outlets in China”, “development paths of Tibet’s business”. Besides, there were also some other parts such as audience interaction, themed banquets.

The guests said that on the basis of economic and social development, thanks to China’s Western Development Policy and the “Belt and Road” Policy, Tibet’s economy ushers in a period of important strategic opportunities. They hope that those powerful businessmen in China can introduce the mature business management idea to Lhasa, making a contribution to the development of Tibet’s economy and society.

In recent years, with the rapid development of Tibet’s economy, the living standard of local people is improving continuously. The business pattern is becoming increasingly reasonable. Business projects in Lhasa, capital of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, is on a rapid growth. This business development forum is an effective platform for discussing the developing trend of Tibet’s business and proposing valuable advice to urban prosperity.
