Padma Choling(Vice Secretary of TAR Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the TAR People’s Congress) met Chen Cungen(Vice Secretary of State Organs Work Committee of CPC)and his entourage who had comefor carrying out investigations in Tibet at Lhasa on 27 September.
Padma Choling welcomed them and introduced them to the prevalent situation in Tibet. He also said that he hoped that the State Organs Work Committee would show its concern and support for Tibet as always and give guidance in the work of developing the organs of the party in Tibet.
He hoped that they could coordinate and work together to raise the standard of the party organs of Tibet and strive to achieve the goal of a well off society by 2020.
Chen Cungen gave his approval to the work of Tibet Organ Work Committee and briefly spoke about the work they had to do during this visit and said that the State Organ Work Committee would give its support to every work of development and stability in Tibet, continuously increase its magnitude of aid to Tibet and make a greater contribution to the leap frog development and long term peace and stability of Tibet.
Important members from the department concerned from TAR were present during the meeting.
