In the afternoon of 24 June, the party secretary of the autonomous region Chen Quanguo met the commander of the armed police Wang Jian Ping and his entourage at Lhasa.The leaders of the autonomous region Lausanne Jiang Cun, Wu Yingjie, Diao Guoxin, Wang Ruilian, He Wenhao, Vice Minister of Logistics Department of armed police force Shen Jinlun, Police Traffic regulation commander Liu Zhanqi, Forest Armed Police management commander He Hongcheng, Armed police Tibet corps commander Song Baoshan, The commissar Tang Xiao all met at once.
On behalf of the party committee of the Autonomous region, the government and the more than 3 million people of different ethnic groups , Chen Quan Guo extended his warm welcome to Wang Jian Ping and his entourage on visiting Tibet for carrying out investigation and also expressed his gratitude to the people’s armed police for showing concern and supporting the work in Tibet since many years. Chen Quan Huo said ,in the recent years, the party committee of the autonomous region and the government jointly led the masses of the cadres of different ethnic groups in the entire region and further implemented the spirit of the 18th party congress and the second plenum of the 2nd party congress, implemented the spirit of the series of the famous talks delivered by Xi Jin Ping, particularly the important strategic thought of “to rule the country one must rule the borders, to rule the borders Tibet should be made stable” and the important instruction that says “work hard to realize Tibet’s continued stability, long term stability and comprehensive stability”, implement chairman Yu Zheng Sheng’s directive requirement of “Rule Tibet as per law, long term building of Tibet, win the hearts of the people and ram the foundation”, closely adhere to the party central committee’s “one core”, “two major political events”, “Four ensurances”, to develop and innovate, be truly pragmatic, uphold scientific development, social stability, unity among the ethnic groups, reform in people’s livelihood, harmony among religions, good ecology and the good situation of strengthening the building of the party.
Chen Quan Guo said that under the strong leadership of the party central committee, the central military commission and Xi Jin Ping, the Tibet corps of the people’s armed police and the whole body of the armed police forces, officers and men, as per the demands of the People’s armed police obey and serve the overall work of the party and the nation on their own, devotedly carry out the divine mission, comprehensively strengthen the building of the corps, the political resolution, a military that is up to the mark, a superior style of work, powerfully safeguard the stability, making an important contribution to the stability of our fatherland’s south- western frontier, to the development of harmony and stability of Tibet. The facts prove that the Tibet corps of the people’s armed police and the armed police forces are capable of making it in the critical moments, is able to dash, is a troop that wins and are a troop that the party and the people can completely rely on. I sincerely hope that the armed police force, just as always supports the work of development and stability in Tibet and the autonomous region continues to do a good service for building of troops and providing guarantee.
Wang Jian Ping expressed his gratitude to the party committee of the autonomous region and the government for its concern and support for the building of the armed police and congrajulated them on the success achieved in the work of developing Tibet and making it stable. He said that the party committee of the Tibet autonomous region, the strong resolution of the government on implementing the policies of the Central authorities in ruling Tibet is highly effective. Promote and develop stability and bold innovation and visible results, Safeguarding a stable and new mechanism, a solid foundation, fast scientific development, good quality, measures to improve people’s livelihood, more tangible benefits, the new and momentous situation of unity of the nationalities, especially ensuring that the overall situation of the society continues in the direction of – harmonious stability, create many new experiences – deserves to be assimilated sincerely. Wang Jian Ping expressed that in the party and overall situation of the nation’s work, Tibet has a very important position. The armed police will continue to give full efforts to support every work related to Tibet’s development and stability, give proper direction to and give good support to the Tibet corps of the people’s armed police and the whole body of the armed police forces the Tibet corps of the people’s armed police and the armed police forces to further use the goal of the party under the new situation of having a strong military which demands all sorts of work to be done, comprehensively strengthen the revamping and regularization of the troops, continuously raise the ability of carrying out the mission, achieve a new merit for the developmental breakthrough and long term peace and stability of Tibet.
