For 20 years, Fujian province has collected a capital of 1.8 billion Yuan for giving aid to Nyingchi ​P​refecture of Tibet

Fujian has been giving aid to Tibet for the past two decades and every troop sent by Fujian to Tibet is working in and around the Nyingchi prefecture. The methods being used by the troops have been modified to suit the local situations. A lot of measures have been implemented to promote socio-economic development, to improve production and the living conditions of the peasants, promote unity among the ethnic groups etc. Nearly thousand such projects are being carried out. This has effectively promoted the socio-economic development of Nyingchi prefecture.
