The Chinese and Indian armies will hold a joint anti-terrorism military training exercise from Oct. 11 to 23 in Kunming, the capital of southwestern China’s Yunnan province.
Chinese defense ministry spokesperson Wu Qian said on Thursday that the training exercise is part of an annual exchange program between the two countries’ armed forces.
A total of 144 people from southwestern China’s Chengdu Military Command will join their Indian counterparts for the drill, code-named “Hand-in-Hand 2015,” Wu said at a monthly press briefing.
