New tourist routes opened to appreciate middle Tibet

Gyirong, 2,700 meters above sea level, is famous for its mild climatically conditions and its abundant vegetation which is unusual for the Qinghai-Tibetan plateau. It is generally called “the last secret place in Tibet” and “the backyard garden of the Mt. Everest.”
