Roots of Reverence, Blossoms of Hope: Tibetan Youth Offer Long Life Prayers to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Celebrate Culture

On 10th September 2025, around 1,000 Tibetan youth (as per the Tibetan Youth Tenshug press release) gathered at Thekchen Chöling, Tsuglhakhang – popularly known as the Dalai Lama Temple in Dharamshala and offered Tenshug (Life-Long Prayer Offering) to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. This prayer offering was initiated by three groups, which including the Tibetan Youth Tenshug consists of : the Lhokha Cultural and Welfare Association and the Namgyal Institute, Ithaca.

The Tibetan Youth Tenshug, 10th September, 2025:

This is the first such offering by Tibetan Youth worldwide (according to the Tibetan Youth Tenshug Website), with the heartfelt plea for the Dalai Lama’s continued long life and spiritual guidance expressed through sacred prayer offerings. These offerings included the traditional Mandala for long life with His Eminence Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche presiding over as the Dorjee Lopon (Prayer Master).
