It is reported that Tibet will newly increase five enterprises which were approved as regional farming herd industrialization leading enterprises, according to the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department of Tibet Autonomous Region.
At present, there are totally 29 regional level and above farming herd industrialization leading enterprises in Tibet. Among them, eight enterprises are state-level farming herd industrialization leading enterprises.
As of the first quarter of 2016, total output value of the regional level farming herd industrialization leading enterprises in Tibet has achieved 500 million yuan, up 8.7% year on year. Total output value of agricultural and animal products processing enterprises has reached 580 million yuan, rising by 9.2% year on year.
